Aug 2010: Our family, with two teenagers, recently spent time at this apartment when we visited Stockholm from Wisconsin. It was great for the four of us, and it could work well for a family with 5 kids too, though that might have been a little crowded. The apartment had everything we needed, and the location was as advertised: the best. It is one block away from Strandvagen, which has the trolley, the buses, any taxis you need, and a beautiful walking area, either right along the docks, or under a tree lined walk way in the middle of the street. It was a very short walk (maybe 3-4 blocks) to the city center (which for our purposes was the dock at the intersection of Strandvagen and Nybrokajen, where we caught the Hop-on Hop-off ferries). We could walk to Gamla Stan and also to Djurgarden without any difficulty, and these are two of the places you will want to see if you stay in Stockholm. We were also fairly close to two of the T-Bana (subway) stations. We ended up using the station at Karlaplan (about 3-4 blocks, but these are the longer blocks) but we also could have used the Ostermalm station, which was a little farther, maybe 4 or 5 blocks away. By the way, the subways are very good. The apartment was clean, neat, well supplied, and on the first floor. We were going to stay in Gamla Stan, which might have been nice and quaint, but this location, just a block off Strandvagen, was really in the center of everything. Sep 1, 2010: We absolutely love your condo. It is so efficient and, now that we are more familiar with the city, we simply could not think of a better location. Stockholm has become, in just two days, one of our favorite cities in the world. And we have never seen so many long-legged and stunning blondes in our lives. And tall! We aren't sure that they haven't been imported just to impress us. We have eaten in three of the restaurants you recommended and wish we had time to visit them again. Thank you for everything. Our Privately owned 2 bedroom condominium (on pictures below) is a 2 room condo, 1 bath suite with 500 square feet comfortably sleeping up to 5 adults. The bedroom has a king size bed and 3 Deluxe Designer daybeds in the living room. Living room has a 32 inch PLASMA TV set and the bedroom has a 32 inch PLASMA TV set, featuring cable TV, CD/DVD System. The Kitchen- and bar area with "High Tec" flat ceramic glass cock top with electronic touchpad, fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Property has a backyard patio with table and chairs for BBQ.

There are metered parking outside on the surrounding streets. There is free parking at night-time after 6pm.

You do not need a car in Stockholm since the public transportation such as subway and local buses are very affordable and easy to access.
